I have potted plants that were growing outside during the summer, I want to bring them inside for the winter. How do I get rid of the little bugs in the soil? Do I have to re-plant them in new potting soil?

I have several Tomato`s, onions, limes and flowers all potted.
I was wondering if there`s a way to keep them from dieing in the fall and winter season, or if they even will considering they arent planted in the ground.

I also wanted to know if there are vegetables or fruits i can plant in fall and winter and be able to eat in the spring and summer?

I just moved to Austin, TX. I’d like to put some potted plants outside of my apartment. They will get lots of morning sun. Any suggestions on what plants will winter well outside? I’d like to have some geraniums, but don’t know if they will stand the cold. Also, what about herbs?

my venus fly trap isn’t looking too healthy.
i have a small ivy plant.
& i just got a catnip plant.
i need to put each of them in a different pot, i know that much.
but how can i keep them alive during the winter?
i just moved to massachusetts O.o
& keeping em by the heater isn’t doing much for me either.

I am looking for cold weather plants, other than pansys. I’m wanting a winter garden.

we are moving to a house with a huge backyard. But the front and back yards are depressingly devoid of shrubs and plants ans such. I want to liven the place up with garden plants. But I know its coming on winter – do I HAVE to wait for spring to get greeneries in pots or in the ground? Appreciate any help from you gardeners.

I have 2 blueberry plants in pots. I planted them in the late spring, and they’ve grew since then but no berries yet. I live in NC, so it’s starting to cool off. What should I do with these plants this winter? I’m scared they’ll die in the pots. Please help!!!
