I have two hydrangea bushes with white, almost looks like bird poop, on the underside of the leaves and some on the stems.
I wasn’t sure if it was a fungus and what to do about it.
I don’t want my bushes to be damaged.

I just bought my first plant for my first apartment. It is a shooting star hydrangea and is beautiful. I am knew to gardening and I want to know if anyone knows how to care for it. Any tips that are more than the traditional ones found on the sticker on the plant and those on the internet would be greatly appreciated!

I just planted 2 Hydrangea bushes.
The flowers are in full bloom now.
Do I pick them to prompt further growth?
Is there anything special that I should do to care for them?
I used a good soil (Miracle Grow) and dug to the recommended depth that the nursery told me.

I have been watering once daily. Is this too much?

Please help. I have such a black thumb but I’m giving my yard my best attempt this year.

I planted in mostly shade where they get a bit of sun after 2 PM

I just purchased an Annabelle hydrangea & transplanted it into a larger pot. The next day the entire plant is wilted looking. The flower heads are very bowed. It has plenty of moisture. Help??

I bought a climbing hydrangea today. I have a big, ancient tree that I want it to climb in my front yard. So now, what do I do? Just plant it at the base of the tree?

I planted it about a month ago and it was fine. The temp dropped and there was a heavy frost for a few nights. All leaves have turned brown but I can see what appears to be new buds close to the stems. I have never had a hydrangea before so I have no idea. Any help is appreciated.

I received a small lacetop “fuji” hydrangea. I don’t want to stress it by planting it now (average temperatures are 100+ right now). Should I keep it 5 inch pot it came in and put it out in the partial sun? Or should I try tp plant it?

Hi! I am a new gardener. At my local Costco warehouse, they are selling large hydrangea plants and various ornamental grasses. I want to buy a few hydrangea plants and put them in the ground over Labor Day weekend, but I do not know if they will survive a cold Chicago winter (zone 5A).

Is this worth the time? If so, do you have any tips for making sure I do this correctly?

Last year I got a hydrangea and it bloomed very nicely all season long. I fertilized it according to directions, and it almost doubled in size, has really nice leaves, but there are no blooms…any suggestions/answers?
