Another great benefit about? Cosmos is that they tend to reseed themselves for years to come. This is also true for Calendula and Honesty, among many others.

What kind of expert is this?
Basil is tricky. It’ll bolt if too warm and it’ll taste terrible. The soil is very important too. Trimming off the flower heads? is essential or the leaves won’t get what they need to taste good.

Basil is a vegetable, not a herb. Not many people know this.
And NEVER put basil in bright, warm direct sun light !! It will wilk and die in a matter of hours. Trust me…I? learned the hard way. Lost a lot of basil in just 5 hours. 3 weeks of loving care down the drain…… A bit of direct sun light in the morning and evening. In between it must be shaded. That way you get leaves as big as your palm.
