I used to tape this on a tape recorder. We didn’t even have a video recorder back then. It’s weird when you dredge up something so obscure from your childhood memories that you haven’t thought of it in years…and then hear it is. Thanks for sticking this on youtube.

Tony Robinson is awsome, as a kid i used to confuse him with Sylvester McCoy and in these clips he reminds me of him a lot

Thanks for uploading these Fat Tulip shows, I remember watching them as a kid in the late 80s, good to see them again
. I use to think narrator Tony Robinson was Fat Tulip lol. Anyways amazing to see a lot of this obscure 80s stuff I saw as a child pop up on YouTube.

It used to ‘kind of’ terrify me too in a cool way, watching this after school all alone whilst me mama was doing evening shifts..

My family loved this show but we remembered it as Fat Julip. No wonder we couldnt find it anywhere. We also loved Maid Marion. i have stuck with Tony Robinson over the years and have seen some wonderful docos he has made.
