Well seen the location/weather of your location I would suggest going EXOTIC light colours(like pastels)..at first you won’t like the idea of mixing so many colors but it will all work since it’s a garden wedding its semi formal and your guests can wear really fresh dresses…also if you’d prefer to stick to one colour or “theme” you might wanna consider cherry blossom =)

Broward:
List of county park rental options:
Old Fort Lauderdale - historic buildings & outdoor area right on New River in Downtown
Josephine S. Leiser Opera Center (also Downtown next to The Riverhouse restaurant, this is where my reception was & loved it!)
In Dade:
Vizcaya
Parks (be sure to check out Deering Estate & the Seaquarium)
Parrot Jungle
In Palm Beach:
Parks
Morikami Gardens
Additionally, check any hotels & restaurants along the beaches, yacht clubs too.
Vendors
TheKnot.com has a South Florida message board as well.
Good luck!
ADD: If you are on a tight budget, then you should really look at the county parks. Some of them have really incredible rental rates & offer great ammenities.
