How do I preserve potted plants for the winter?
Brea asked:
I have potted plants that were growing outside during the summer, I want to bring them inside for the winter. How do I get rid of the little bugs in the soil? Do I have to re-plant them in new potting soil?

To get rid of the bugs, most likely you will have to re pot them. Pending on the bugs. There may be a spray to kill them off and not your plants….I would also suggest that you transition them from outside to the garage first, if really bringing them in the home. That may become a shock to them, and kill them.
