kaleidoscope of color plants keep in house for winter?

We can help you more I you give more information about the type of plant it is or a picture would be helpful.
Without knowing what kind of plant it is we don’t know if it is hardy.
Some plants will die if you bring them into your house for the winter.
Is it either of these?
